Drinking water points are distributed across the site as well as a seperate grey water and chemical toilet disposal point. The latter,  which can be found in the Merrymeet field, is contained inside its own building, which is equipped with a flushing sluice, hand wash basin and electric light. There are now charging facilities for electric vehicles on site, it is a pay as you use facility, via our own system on site and it is a slow charge; please speak to a member of staff to use the service. Alternative fast charge options are available in Liskeard. Customers must not charge or attempt to charge their vehicle from their electrical hook up point.

Fire extinguishers are located in three points across the site (see map) and a defibrillator (acessed by calling 999 direclty) and first aid kit are located at reception.

Merrymeet Field

North facing, with views towards Caradon Hill. The field contains our Fully serviced hard stands, Shepherds hut and camping Pods as well as 3 grass camping pitches. Subject to availability this field is also the location for lightweight campers including cycle touring and backpacking on a tucked away pitch. Other facilities in this field include the grey water and chemical waste disposal points, drinking water and fire fighting equipment. Serving this area are the Merrymeet facilities building containing two individual toilets, two showers and a dishwashing area. The laundry consists of a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also a small collection of books and games for use by visitors in reception.

 

 

 

 

Rosecraddoc Field

 

Rosecraddoc Field has a gentle south facing slope looking out across pasture land, while the moors around Caradon Hill are dominant to the north. The field contains five level hard standings with a separate access road leading onto the pitches allowing easy access whatever the weather. The field has its own seperate access to avoid crossing over other camping areas and is adjacent to the dog walk area. At the northern end of the field away from the camping pitches is an area for ball games. The Rosecraddoc facilities area include three toilets, a power shower and a separate dish washing area with hot water. This field also contains the Electric vehicle charging point.
