SITE SERVICES
Toilets and showers
We have two toilet blocks on site servicing each field, with both containing toilet and shower rooms for your privacy and comfort. Both blocks have hot running water and washing up facilities. Merrymeet block has a washing machine and tumble drier facility as well as a small freezer for ice packs.
Shop & Reception
The small shop and reception area on site is home to our information point, with flyers for all of the local attractions, places to visit and local amenities. It has a book exchange and board games collection.
It is also where the first aid kit and defibrillator are located. In the shop, you will find food, dog treats and camping essentials, as well as the odd non essential!
Waste disposal
We have two bin points on site which enable you to get rid of your general and recycling waste. We implore guests to please follow the recycling instructions on site to help us reduce our carbon footprint. The Merrymeet Field is also home to the Grey Waste and chemical disposal point for camping guests. The Rosecradoc Field also contains the new motorhome service point, allowing motorhome users to drive over and empty their grey waste tanks.
Wi-Fi
We have on site Wi-Fi that is available to be purchased in advance of your stay or when you arrive on site for £1 per day.
Electric car charging
We now have a basic car charging facility, it is a pay as you use point and you will need the relevant three pin adapter for your own car.
Dogs
We are a very dog friendly site and welcome all responsible dog owners. We have a dog walking area that is semi secure and well behaved dogs are welcome to be let off their leads in this area. We also have multiple dog waste bins on site and strictly enforce the collection of dog waste by owners.
Local Area
We have an amazing array of places to visit such as ancient stone circles, stunning lakes and the rugged moorland on our doorstep. Don’t worry, 20 minutes down the road is the closest beach including a great dog friendly beach as well. There are some great places to eat in the local area and you are not far from the bustling city of Plymouth if you want to do some shopping!
Children & Games
We welcome children here at Fursdon Farm and although we do not have any physical playing equipment for children, we have a flat field down the bottom of the site for children to play ball games. We asked that no ball games are played on site around other guests pitches
Quiet hours
We pride ourselves on being a quiet hideaway site and ask that all guests please appreciate this and understand that between the quiet hours we ask for absolute silence to preserve the peaceful nature of the site.

For 2026, due to the rising costs everywhere, we have decided not to increase any of our camping prices. This is to say thank you to all of our regular customers and hopefully encourage others to come camping and glamping to Fursdon Farm and other sites in Cornwall. All we ask is that you are mindful of your electric use when on site and that you have a great stay!
