Who we are…
We are Andrew and Jess and we welcome you to Fursdon Farm. We hope you come and enjoy sharing a small piece of the Cornish Countryside with us. Being a moorland area, our piece of Cornwall, looks a little different from what you might normally expect. Steeped in history, with landmarks such as King Donierts stone, ancient stone circles and UNESCO world heritage mining sites, Fursdon gives you access to many hidden secrets of Cornwall.
We are 20 minutes from the beach (an age in Cornwall we know!), but we can offer the stunning Cornish moors and some of darkest skies you will get at night, offering amazing star gazing opportunities, all wrapped up in the peaceful Cornish countryside.
You have a couple of options when you stay with us and it follows Andrew and Jess’s passions…you can run up to the top of Caradon hill and jump in Gold Diggings quarry for a cold plunge with Andrew, or have a slow start to the day, lying in and enjoying the peace, then jump in your glamping hot tub with Jess! But we both agree on one must do, meet at one of the amazing local spots for breakfast and coffee like Trevallicks Farm shop just up the road, or the Olive co. cafe by Siblyback lake.
Alongside our trusty German Shepherd Bear, cat’s Hendricks and Bailey and a small flock of chickens, we welcome you to Fursdon Farm, we hope you enjoy your stay.

What’s around us…
Situated on the edge of Bodmin moor in the stunning Cornish countryside, Fursdon offers a central location that allows you to explore most of Cornwall and much of South West Devon within an hours drive.
We are also lucky to be on the edge of Caradon Moor, containing the UNESCO world heritage mining site, a huge part of Cornwall’s rich history. The more also contains amazing dog walking routes, unparallel trail running and mountain biking opportunities. It also has the awesome Gold Diggings Quarry for the wild swimmers.
There are ancient stone circles and even the former king of Cornwall’s stone, only 10 minutes away. This is teamed up with some of the most stunning views and locations to explore, such as Golitha falls, Siblyback lake and the Cheesewring.
Down the road, we have the unique Story of Emily museum, the Adrenaline quarry, which is an awesome outdoor adventure park, Cardinham woods with fantastic downhill mountain biking and some great beaches only 20 minutes away.
